Vanessa Madu

Vanessa is a PhD candidate at Imperial College London in Modern Statistics and Statistical Machine Learning. She is studying the movement of plastic and floating debris on the ocean surface and hopes to inform ocean and climate policy more widely with her research. Vanessa has received several awards for her innovative approach to making science accessible, and has started multiple initiatives to increase the diversity within her field. Vanessa has been invited to share her expertise in engaging diverse talent and audiences across several stages.
