Shabnam is a seasoned Afghan journalist. She has worked with some of Afghanistan’s most prominent media outlets as a news presenter and programme host, and spent three years as a news presenter and producer for Afghanistan International in London before joirning BBC Pashto in July 2025. Alongside her journalism career, Khan Dawran pursued legal studies at Ashna University, Kabul, and is also continuing her education in the English language. With extensive experience in media and a deep understanding of current affairs, she remains committed to advocating for truth and transparency in reporting.
