Jaspreet, better known as ‘Behind the Netra’ for her poetry, is an award-winning spoken word artist and history teacher from East London. She’s passionate about using poetry as a powerful tool for positive social change and her work tackles issues related to gender discrimination, mental health and taboo subjects both in the Asian community and beyond. She actively works with national government, corporations and charities, such as TED, Westminster Interfaith Council and Action for Children, using her ground-breaking poetry to inspire and drive change.
